A subject so relevant, at least to me, learning Spanish on the go, while teaching Spanish in classroom and private settings. Spanish is so easy when it comes to pronunciation, and English is near impossible without a very good memory. Explaining that the “a” sound in Abraham has three different sounds…lots of fun to people who always read an “a” as and “ah” sound.
Po-tay- to…or puh-tay-tuh, depending on place of origin.
Plus don’t forget the difference in words… I just loved this because I imagined hearing it… And then I imagined it with a different pronunciation and then… And then…
